Yesterday was the first day that I was able to get out due to the Weather since late last Sunday Afternoon. We got hit with a real nasty bit snowstorm. We got 10 inches of snow. I was plowed in until yesterday...thank goodness the sun came out and started to melt the snow and I am so very thankful for that.
I went to Arby's for lunch yesterday. Than I went over to my church to do my Volunteer Work and was there all afternoon. Than I went to Arby's on my wah home to get me my Chocolate Mint Swirl Milkshake and came on home. Oh that was so good. That was my afternoon treat.
I have been making Triangles out of scraps of material this week. I have made 9 Triangles this week and they are not small either..they are rather quite big. These Triangles are for my Spider Web Quilt. I have a big bag of material - well the other afternoon I decided that I needed to get my bag of scraps sorted out and get that re-organized so that is what I did. I got my good big pieces of material in one pile and I got my scraps for my Triangles in another pile. I am going to just make several Triangles and than when I get them all made or think I have enough made than I will start putting them together to make my Blocks. I love and enjoy making these Triangles...they are fun to make and easy. I have one area of my bedroom that is used for my crafts/sewing/stitching which makes it really nice. Actually I needed a 2 bedroom apt but 1 bedroom apt will do. I could use my other bedroom for my Sewing Room but that is okay. They are more expensive too and I can't afford a 2 bedroom apt.
I will be spending this weekend making Triangles and stitching on both of my projects. I didn't get a chance to stitch on Autumn Splendor this week. I was too busy making Triangles and stitching on Daisy Offerings.
