PICS - Progress Pics of Fantasy Triptych - PICS

Here are the Progress Pictures of Fantasy Triptych. The Top Border above the Castle is completely done, the Gold Mill Hill Beads are stitched on the Top Middle Border above the Castle. The last inside border is completely finished. More back stitching done in the Grass Area of the Castle Panel. Still have a little bit more of back stitching to do in that panel yet in the Grass Area. Now I can concentrate on the very last Page which is Page 8. Everything is done now except for a few back stitches in the Castle Panel in the Grass Area and of course stitch Page 8. The End is in Sight...YIPEE! Pages 1 - 7 is done.

I do read all of your Blogs but I always don't leave a comment only because it won't let me. Thanks for all of your compliments and for all of the Encouragement.

Railroad helping his Mother with cutting squares for her Scrappy Quilt...LOL....You can see the Rotary Cutter in front of Railroad...he was helping me....LOL....I just got nicely started in doing this and here comes my child jumping onto my Cutting Mat, plopped right straight down and stayed there for a good while. I couldn't continue doing what I was doing....LOL...he can be a stinker at times. He loves to be in the same room right close by me and it doesn't matter what room it is either. He has to be really close to me no matter what. We have our Mother/Son time every afternoon...he lays on my lap and we both take naps together.

Pictures of Fantasy Triptych - You can tell the Progress that I made on this within two days time...I am almost done with Page 7 - about 24 more short rows to go yet and than I can move onto the very last page which is Page 8. Most of the Shield section and the surrounding areas are nothing but all Quarter Stitches. I had to do one row at a time in order to get the Quarter Stitches in the right place...every single square is nothing but Quarter Stitches. I am doing the back stitching as I go along in this Panel.

The Temp today got up to 44 Degrees F. It is suppose to rain through the Night tonight and than turn to snow tomorrow sometime. My area is not suppose to get very much snow.

Movies I watched during last week

Hi Everyone

I made it to church yesterday morning and it was only 6 Above Zero Degrees out at 6:30 a.m. It took me an hour and a half to defrost my car. When I got back in my car to leave my front windshield had frosted over on the inside so I had to take my scraper and scrape the inside of my window. Oh what a mess. I shouldn've gone to church yesterday as cold as it was but the Senior Pastor was preaching and I didn't want to miss out on his good sermons that he gives. His sermons are really good. Once I got home from church I stayed put. I put on my Sweatpants, long sleeve sweatshirt, had two pairs of my fuzzy warm slippers on and spent the rest of the entire day at home. The highest temp that it got to yesterday was 23 degrees and that was it.

The Temp right now as I am writing this is 35 but this is in the Big City Temp and I'm not in the Big City so it is lower than 35 degrees out. The Sun is trying to come out and shine and I hope it does to warm everybody up. I am still cold from yesterday.

PIC - Fantasy Triptych - PIC

The bottom section of the Cloak is completely finished now. I have started to stitch on the Prince's Shield which is at the bottom of his cloak. There is lots of Quarter Stitches around the outer edge of his shield so it is going to take me a while to get his shield done.

For some reason I can't get a good picture of the whole thing so I decided to just show this part of Fantasy Triptych - the Prince Panel. The Blue part of his cloak that you see..it is a combination of Blues and Purples. It is really neat when you actually see this in person.

I had a very relaxing day yesterday (Friday). I stayed in my Flannel Jammies all day yesterday, wore two pairs of fuzzy warm slippers, covered up with my Fleece Blanket, and stitched the entire day on Fantasy Triptych. I had a very lazy day yesterday and it felt so good to do this. I enjoyed every single minute of it.

Our weather has been bad the last two days, Snow, High Winds, and Extreme Cold Temps. As I am writing this it is only 16 above Zero F. Now that is cold.

I am going to try to go out this afternoon and defrost my car and see if my car doors will open up. If they don't open up on their own than I won't force them to open up. The problem with my car doors is that when it is this cold outside, and if I force them to open up...sometimes they won't go shut and than I have to drive to the car shop and have them fix the door so my door will go shut. It is a pain in the neck - I don't like my car doors. They don't open up or shut right. My car door isn't too bad but when it is this cold out my car door always won't go back shut once it is open. If I can't get my car doors to open up than I won't be going to church in the morning. It is only suppose to be 16 Above Zero F tonight. Brrrrr!

I am going to read my devotions for the day, than sit down and stitch on Fantasy Triptych.

WIP PIC - Fantasy Triptych - PIC

Close up Photo of Fantasy Triptych - 3rd Panel - Prince Panel....Igor the Horse - his hoofs are done and his legs are done. The Bottom Yellow Section that is curvy...that is the bottom of the Prince's Cloak. That whole bottom lower section is completely finished...there are Gold Beads on the inside of each border corner down at the bottom too. You can't hardly see them.

This is the Whole Picture of Fantasy Triptych as of today - Jan 5, 2012. Now to fiqure out what section to stitch on next. Actually Page 7 is half way done now.

This is a Sunset Photo that I took on Jan 3, 2012. The Sky is Pink behind the Trees and I thought this photo looked so neat.

I have been busy stitching on Fantasy Triptych. I will be reading all of my Blogs over the weekend.

The weather is really nice...it is 42 Degrees outside and the snow and the ice is melting. The Sun is Shining and I am so glad too.

I have to get my car fixed sometime between February and March...I am going to try to get my car fixed in March. By that time I will have more than what it is going to cost me to get it fixed.

My only stitchy project is Fantasy Triptych. I am going to stitch on Autumn Splendor - something that is easy - after I get Fantasy Triptych done.

I went to Barnes and Nobles yesterday and I bought one Book called "Uncle Tom's Cabin" and I bought one Stitchy Magazine called "Cross-Stitch Gold - March 2012 Issue". Boy do they ever have some beautiful patterns in this Issue. I would love to get this every time it came out. I dearly love this Stitchy Magazine. I can't afford to get it every month through the Mail so I will just buy it at Barnes and Nobles whenever I am there.

I went to Jo Ann Fabrics as well and I bought more yarn for my Yellow/Blue/White Afghan that I am crocheting every night. It is getting nice and big. It is the Width of my Bed and it is going to be as long as my Bed is. I have a Twin Size Bed.

Happy New Year - Sun Jan 1, 2012

Hi everyone

I want to wish you all a Very Happy Blessed New Year on this very first day of the New Year - Sun, Jan 1, 2012.

I read everyone's Blogs as of today and I got them all read. All of you are doing beautiful stitching and I love the way you are finishing your ornaments and your other projects as well.

My Girlfriend and I went to our Church this morning for the Worship Service and than Sunday School. After that we went to Pizza Hut to have their Lunch Buffet...it was awfully good. We had a good time.

I have been so tired today that I did not get anything done today. I just covered up with my Fleece Warm Blanket and slept most of the afternoon away.

No Stitching for me today that is for sure....today has been a very lazy afternoon and evening.

I did not stay up last night to watch the Ball drop...I had to get up early this morning to go to Church and to Sunday School. Our Worship Service starts at 8:30 a.m. and it takes me a good 15 minutes to get from my place to the church. I was a very good little girl...I went to church and to Sunday School. I love the Pastor's Sermons...they are really good and he tells stories that goes along with his Sermons and I loved the story that he told this morning about him and his Father In Law flying this special plane that they were in love with and my Pastor ended up owing the plane himself and flying it and taking care of his very own plane. His stories are wonderful. It was a very heartwarming story that he told this morning.

We are under Lake Effect Snow starting today through Tuesday AM. We are suppose to get 8 to 12 inches of snow by Tuesday AM. In that case I won't be going anywhere for a few days. I will be snowed in. I just hope that i can get out by Wed cause I need to pay my bills and my rent and so forth.

Happy New Year - Sat Dec 31st

Hi everyone

I want to wish each and everyone of your a Very Happy Blessed New Year. May we all stay in Good Health, and enjoy our New Year of 2012. May we all get lots of Stitching Done, all of our UFO's completed, and Start All New Projects in the coming new year.

My girlfriend and I are going to spend part of the late afternoon early evening together today. We are going to order Pizza from Pizza Hut and than she is going to come over and spend our New Years Eve together. It should be fun. We have alot of fun together. She is a great friend.

I finally got my bedroom/sewing area of my bedroom all organized now as of yesterday. I got that job done. I sat down yesterday afternoon and got the material ready for a Pillow Top that I am going to be putting together. The material is cut and all of that and they are pinned together so now I just have to sew the Pillow together and stuff it and than sew the opening together.

I got the very right side on the bottom half of the Prince Panel completely finished last night and I have started to stitch the body of Igor the Horse now. I am so happy about this. This will be my only project that I will be stitching on until I am completely finished with this.

PIC - WIP - Fantasy Triptych - PIC

Progress on Fantasy Triptych by TW. I have part of two legs on Igor the Horse stitched and now I'm stitching on the very right hand side going up to the end of the bottom half of the Prince Panel. That is where I am at as of yesterday. I stitched on this every day for at least two hours a day if not more.

The weather is rainy and it is 40 Degrees F outside right now.

I re-organized my bookcase in my bedroom yesterday and than after that I re-organized all of my DMC Threads in the Darice Floss Plastic Boxes and got them all re-organized. I decided that I am only going to stitch on one picture from start to finish. I cannot stitch on two different projects. After I get Fantasy Triptych done than I will stitch on Autumn Splendor. It is a Deer Scenery Picture.

I am tired today after doing all of that yesterday. It took all afternoon and part of the evening to get both of those things re-organized.

Yesterday was my Birthday

Hi Everyone

Yesterday was my Birthday - Wed Dec 28th. My girlfriend and I ran around all afternoon and I got some goodies to eat from my Girlfriend. I wore myself out yesterday. It was a very good Birthday Day for me which hasn't been in a very long time. The best part of my Birthday as receiving 5 Books from Amazon.com that I ordered using a Gift Card for Amazon that I got for my Christmas and for my Birthday from my one brother. I got two more of Charles Dickens Books and the first three books in the Cottage Tales of Beatrix Potter Series. I am real happy cause I got to order books and got them on my Birthday. HOORAY!

I watched movies last week and here is what I have watched:

I am spending the day at home doing what I want. I read this morning in my Music Lover's Mystery Novel. It is really good.

I am having a very relaxing day today and taking it easy today. Last night I crochet on my Afghan - it is as wide as my bed and it is going to be as long as my bed. It is Yellow, White, and Blue. It is Varigated Red Heart Yarn. After I get this one done than I am going to finish my other Afghan.

I will stitch this afternoon on Fantasy Triptych

I got two Gift Cards this year for Christmas...and one of the Gift Cards that I got is from Amazon.com. I love Amazon.com...lol. This is the place that I order my music from and my books from. I ordered 5 Novels and these are the ones that I got with my Gift Card:

Nicholas Nickleby - Charles Dickens
Bleak House - Charles Dickens
The Tale of Hill Top Farm - Susan Wittig Albert
The Tale of Holly How - Susan Wittig Albert
The Tale of Cuckoo Brow Wood - Susan Wittig Albert

I finished reading "The Cottage Tale of Beatrix Potter" by Susan Wittig Albert. This is a really good excellent cute book to read. I love this book. The chapters are short and are easy to read.

I am currently reading "Death of a Poo-Bah" by Karen Sturges. It is a Music Lover's Mystery. It is a really good book too and the Chapters are short.

I love reading and I love really good cute stories - that is why I love Children's Stories because they are the best and they are really good and very cute as well too. I love the Author Susan Wittig Albert. I have read some of her other books as well too from the Library. Her Books are really good.

When I get my check next month I am going to be ordering more books by Charles Dickens and Susan Wittig Albert. I want to get all of the Tale Books by her. They are really good.

It is snowing in my area - we are suppose to get up to 3 inches of snow. I did all of my errands yesterday so today I am staying put and doing what I want to do.

I hope that all of you had a really good Christmas for us who celebrated CHRISTmas on Dec 25th. It was a very quiet day for me...it was just me and Mr. Railroad and that was it.

I got my broken tooth pulled on Friday - I had a ride to and from my hometown so I could go to my hometown Dentist and get my broken tooth pulled. I feel so much better now. My jaw is still swollen up a bit but not too bad though.

Tomorrow is my Birthday. I am going to go to my church for the Community Mid Week Meal tomorrow...that will be my Birthday Dinner to myself.

Awwwweeee...look who is hiding underneath the Chair...he is just way too cute like this....He was being a little stinker last night. My Railroad....I just love him to death. He is my baby. He isn't spoiled at all either....hahaha!

I got Direct TV all hooked up and I love Direct TV. Next month I am getting Century Link as my Internet Provider and than I will be able to get Broadband from Direct TV. I love Direct TV.

WIP - Santa Baker - WIP

Progress on Santa Baker....Designer is Joan Elliot....I am stitching this on 14 Count White Aida Material.

I am getting Direct TV a week from today...I am so excited about it. I am getting rid of Mediacom as far as their Cable is concern. Next month I am going to switch my Internet Service over to Century Link. I will only be paying $30.00 a month for a year and than after that I will be paying $65.00 a month. With Mediacom I was paying $115.00 and that was only for about 50 channels and High Speed Internet. With Direct TV I will be getting over 150 channels plus a DVR as well too and I will only be paying $30.00 for a year and than after that $65.00 a month. Mediacom has raised their High Speed Internet Service since I won't have Cable with them so that is why I am switching over to Century Link...it is much cheaper.

I can watch my shows on my computer through CBS and through Hula TV once I get rid of my Cable on Monday and it had better be disconnected by 5 p.m. I don't have to be home for this either. I have been watching Movies from Netflix.

Today I am watching a movie from Netflix called "Phffft". It has Jack Lemon in it and Judy Holiday in the movie. I love Jack Lemon.

I am still reading "An Engagement in Seattle" by Debbie Macomber. I only have about 5 more chapters to read in this one and than I will be done with this Novel. I am going to read the Cedar Cove Series by her next. I got most of the Cedar Cove Series in my home Library and what I don't have I will order them through Amazon.com

Railroad was sick for two days but now he seems to be back to being himself once again. He wouldn't eat his dry food or his can cat food for two days straight so last night he finally ate his dry cat food and than this morning he ate both.

We got snow through the night last night but just enough to cover up the grounds with and that is about it. It is suppose to get down to 16 above zero tonight. Now that is very cold.

This was taken last night - as you can tell it was snowing last night and through the rest of the night. We didn't even get a inch I don't think. I'm glad that it stop snowing. The temp is 32 Degrees F as I am writing this. I decided to take a picture of it snowing last night and post it.

I hope that you all stay nice and warm for those of us who are FREEZIN in Northern Indiana....

I will be stitching and reading today...I'm waiting on the Mediacom Tech to come and get my VCR/DVD Recorder/Player straightened out once and for all. They have come 3 times now and it still isn't working right. Maybe this time which will be the 4th time might be a charm. I hope so. It plays bought DVD Movies and the ones that I have recorded in the past but it won't record. It is suppose to say E1 and it says E2 and that is where the problem lies at.

Railroad is sick today...once in a great while he will have a sick spell and today is one of those days.

I'm still tired from yesterday

Good Morning Everyone

Yesterday (Sunday the 20th) was a very awesome day for me and a very long day. I went to Church, Sunday School, stayed during the late worship service, than stayed for the All Church Thanksgiving Dinner. Got home around 2 p.m yesterday afternoon. Than I left at 4:30 p.m. and went back over to my church for my Tabitha Circle Meeting. It was a very good meeting. By the time I got home last night which was around 8:00 p.m. I was extremely tired. I was in bed last night by 8:30 p.m. It was one long very enjoyable day for me.

I finished reading "Freckles" by Gene Stratton Porter this morning. Now I'm reading "An Engagement in Seattle" by Debbie Macomber. This is from my own Library.

The weather is icky outside - very cold and rainy out. I am staying put today and doing whatever I feel like doing at the moment.

I am going to stitch on Harvest Witch by Stoney Creek today.

Railroad is dead sound asleep in his bed covered up with my Sweater Jacket. He is staying nice and warm today. I'm such a good mommy to him....lol.

I am still tired yet from yesterday.

Its Saturday Morning

Hi everyone

Good Morning to you all....I am having a very relaxing morning drinking my coffee and doing my computer stuff.

I have decided to pull out HAED's Daisy Offerings and stitch on this today. I haven't stitched on this for a while so that is what I'm going to be stitching on today.

It is cold outside...my cat Railroad likes to lay in front of the wall heater and take in all of the heat...he steals my heat....why shame on him huh?....LOL.....

I got quite a bit done on Fantasy Triptych yesterday and last night. Once the Cable Tech guy came and left I got busy and stitch on this project. I am almost getting ready to start one of the Horse's Hoofs or maybe two of them.

Not much else is going on here....

Good Morning Everyone

It snowed through the night last night but the white stuff did not stick to the ground and I am so glad. I had a nice little talk with Mother Nature last night....LOL....

I am getting a Mammogram this morning. Than this afternoon Mediacom Cable Tech Guy is coming to unhook my Digital Cable Box. I will only be getting channels 2 through 78. That is all I need. I don't watch TV until evening time anyways cause I'm too busy doing other things during the day time.

This afternoon and tonight I am planning on stitching on Fantasy Triptych. Someone asked me if I was going to get this one done this year and I am hoping that I do. I want to get it done by the end of this year.

I am almost done reading "Freckles" by Gene Stratton-Porter. I love this book.

I want to say a Great Big Thank you to all of our Veterans who have Died and are still living who has served in the Wars of our time...Thanks to you all and God Bless you all.

Its Been Snowing Out

Hi Everyone

Well this morning I went to Walmart to get me a pair of Snow Boots - I'm getting ready for Winter. I checked out their Converter Boxes for TV's and they sell them for $39.00. I am eventually going to get rid of my Cable period and watch TV through the Converter Box. I can also watch my TV Shows on Hula TV, Free Project TV, and I get Netfix too. Next month I am going to buy me a Converter Box and the Antenna. I can also go to the Library and get movies if I want to. Lord only knows that I have plenty of Movies of my own to watch too. The Cable Tech guy is coming tomorrow afternoon and taking my Digital Cable Box out. I will just get the Basic Channels for a while until I can get my Converter Box set up.

It has been very windy out all day today and it has been snowing throughout the day. Today is our very first day of having Snow.

I love these two shows...they are my favorite. I will watch Grey's Anatomy later on Hula TV.

Harvest Witch by Stoney Creek...this is stitched on 28 Count Blue Denim Jobelan Material. I love this material. It really makes the picture stand out. I just have the Harvest Witch Gown to finish up and than one more pumpkin to do and than this project will be completely done. Of course I still have to do the back stitching too.

This is my Monday Project...I am doing the Thanksgiving/Halloween SAL with the Stitching Sisters Yahoo Group and we are suppose to stitch on our projects for this theme on Sundays but by the time I get home from Church I am way too tired on Sundays to stitch on anything and all I want to do is just sleep so I decided to do this on Mondays instead of on Sundays.

Good Morning Everyone

Good Morning Everyone

Well today is Thursday and I am planning on staying home again today. I will do the last of my errands tomorrow since I will be out and about.

We are suppose to have Rain with mix of Snow Showers today and I hope this doesn't happen. I need to buy me a pair of boots yet from Walmart which I will do that tomorrow.

I will be uploading some pictures today to my online webshots Album and on my Blog too.

I am stitching on TW's Fantasy Triptych and I got quite a bit done on this project yesterday and I will get more done on this today as well too.

I have joined the 2012 WIPocalypse. It is a SAL that another stitcher started for next year and I have joined this SAL for next year. It is another SAL Blog.

I hope that you all will leave comments and tell me what you think of my new layout...it took 3 tries yesterday to get it like I wanted it and I finally got it the way I want it now. I dearly love the new look. I will probably change the background layout in December or January.

I got my book from Amazon.com Today...YIPEE!

Hi everyone

I got my book today from Amazon.com. The name of the book is called "Shirley" by Charlotte Bronte. Amazon only had one left of this one that was actually written by Charlotte Bronte so I got it while I could. I am going to be ordering more books by Charlotte Bronte in the very near future.

The weather is icky outside so I am staying put today....I have been stitching on Fantasy Triptych all day today and been changing my Blog as well too....It has been very rainy, very cold, and very windy out all day today. I took 34 pictures of the clouds today so I will get them posted as well too.

I will be posting pictures of Harvest Witch and Fantasy Triptych this week toward the weekend.

I cleaned my Living Room yesterday

Hi Everyone

I am sitting here drinking my coffee and having a very relaxing morning. I have read some in my novel called "Miss Julia Rocks the Cradle" by Ann B. Ross.

I decided to clean and to re-arrange my living room yesterday so I spent the entire day doing just that. I have more room now in my living room and I love the way I have it now. I need to get another table to put on the other side of my chair. I have one table already which is a End Table but now I need to get another one. Right now I am using my Piano Bench for my table and it's the perfect size.

I did stitch last night on Joan Elliot's Santa Baker while I watch the movie "Pirates Of The Carribean On Stranger Tides". I bought this movie at Walmart. It is a really good movie. I love Johnny Depp anyways. He is so funny. I now have all of the Pirates Of The Carribean Movies. YIPEE!

My Shopping Trip to Walmart

Hi Everyone

I decided to go to Walmart on the Spur of the moment and get my Movie that I've been wanting to get among some other things as well too. Well while I was roaming around in Walmart looking at stuff their Computer System went down. Nobody could get checked out - we waited for a good half hour before their System came back up. In the meantime one of the Managers - CSM - was handing out cookies to anybody that wanted one so I took one. I took a Peanut Butter Cookie. It was good.

Here is what I bought at Walmart:

Pirates Of The Carribean - On Stranger Tides
Food/Water Dish for Railroad
A Bag of my favorite candy - Kit Kat - just for me...after all it is Halloween Time you know...LOL

I did see a Pair of Winter Boots that I want to buy since I need to buy a pair before Winter comes. I also saw another Movie that I want to get too at Walmart.

Yesterday morning I went to the Library and spent some time there. Than I came home, ate some lunch, and than I swept and mopped my Kitchen Floor. I stayed home for the rest of the day. I was tired after I got that done.

I have started to stitch on Joan Elliot's Santa Baker...this is the week of the Christmas SAL through the Yahoo Stitching Sisters Group. I will stitch on this for the rest of this week.

The weather is cold but the sun is shining...it is suppose to be up to 70 F or close to it anyways. Tonight we are suppose to have Thunderstorms, High Winds, so I think I'm going to stay put tonight and not go anywhere. I don't like to get out when it is storming out.

I was suppose to go to Bible Study this morning but my car was completely frosted over and it was really cold outside early this morning so I decided to just stay in where it is nice and warm.

I may go to the Library this afternoon to renew two books or I may do it online too through my Library. I'm not sure yet.

My latest News

Hi everyone

Well today is Monday Morning and it rained/stormed during the night last night/this morning and cold too. I was so tired last night that I was in bed by 7:30 p.m.

I went to Church, Sunday School and than I stayed for the 11:00 a.m. worship service and ushed which I always enjoy doing. I was tired all day yesterday and last night.

I am going to clean my Apt today...I am in the mood to clean so that is what I'm going to be spending the day doing.

Sometime this afternoon I am going to go to the Library and take a book back and renew another one.

READING
I finished reading "Fly Me to the Morgue" by Robert J. Randisi. Now I'm reading "Miss Julia Rocks The Cradle" by Ann B. Ross.

MOVIES
I am still watching "John Adams" from Netflix. It is a Two Disc Movie and it is really good. I also watched "The Buccaneers" from Netflix too. This was a really good movie.

STITCHING
I am still stitching on Fantasy Triptych. I have begun to stitch in the very last Panel - Panel 3 - The Prince Panel - and I got the first 3 Rows done if you want to count the border too.

Here is a really good picture of the Castle. I did get more done on the Middle Border up above the Castle. You can't really tell but I did.

It has been rainy, very cold, and very windy out the last two days. It has been terrible out lately.

I finished reading "A Dark And A Stormy Night" by Jeanne M. Dams. Now I'm reading "Fly Me to the Morgue" by Robert J. Randisi. This is a Rat Pack Mystery. This novel has the Characters of Bob Hope, Bing Crosby and one other singer. I'm not sure who it is.

Mr. Railroad is dead sound asleep in his bed all curled up. He fell asleep laying on my lap this afternoon...it was just way too cute.

The Castle is completely finished now - Fantasy Triptych - You have the Castle View and you have the Whole View as of today. I have started on the border at the top - the other half of the border above the castle. I am going to continue to work on this and the very last Panel is "Prince" Panel. As soon as I get the Middle Border all done than I will be stitching the Prince and his horse.

It is nice out...a little bit windy and its sunny out....I went to my craft class this afternoon and now I'm back home.

Went to the Library yesterday

Hi Everyone

I went to the Library yesterday afternoon - my Library was open yesterday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. despite being a Holiday - Columbus Day. I renewed two of my books and one Magazine plus I checked out two more books so here is what I have now to read:

A Dark and Stormy Night by Jeanne M. Dams
Miss Julia Rocks the Cradle - Ann B. Ross
Fly Me to the Morgue - Robert J. Randisi
Murder on Sisters' Row - Victoria Thompson
American History Magazine - August 2011 Issue

I am currently reading "Murder on Sisters' Row" by Victoria Thompson. I am almost done with this Novel. This one is really good. I love this book. I love Victoria Thompson's books.

I watched Movies this week and this past week and here is what I have watched:

Bee Movie - Netflix
Lost In Austen - Netflix

Both of these movies are really good....Lost In Austen is based on from the famous Author of Jane Austen. I love Jane Austen books. I have a few of her books.

Yesterday I stitched on Harvest Witch during my Craft time in the Community Room where I am living at. It started out as a Crocheting Class and than we decided to turn it into a all craft time so that is what it is now. There were 4 of us there yesterday so that was pretty good. We are having this also on every other Thursday in the mornings so that will give me something to do on Thursdays.

I am staying put today - I had a light headache last night before I went to bed and when I woked up this morning it came back so I'm staying put today and taking it easy.

This week I am stitching on Fantasy Triptych until next Monday Morning and than I will switch over to Daisy Offerings. I will stitch on Harvest Witch again on Sunday.

I have a Movie to watch from Netflix today called "The Golden Compass" so I will be watching this and stitching.

The weather has been really nice all of last week and this week so far....it is suppose to rain on Thursday and Friday of this week. That is okay.

Good Morning Everyone

Stitching News

I have decided to have a Rotation - Fantasy Triptych by TW and Daisy Offerings by HAED. I have been stitching on Daisy Offerings by HAED all of this week and starting on Monday I will be stitching on Fantasy Triptych by TW all next week.

On Sundays I stitch on Harvest Witch by Stoney Creek - I belong to a SAL Yahoo Group and we stitch anything that is related to Halloween, Autumn type patterns.

The last week of each month beginning on the 25th I stitch on Santa Baker. I belong to a SAL Yahoo Group and we stitch anything that is related to Christmas.

Answer to your Gridding Questions:

I Grid as I need to...I don't Grid just because I want to or just for the fun of it....I grid as I go and this way I will only Grid when I need to. This pattern you have to Grid because if you don't you will lose your place in nothing flat. Her Hairline goes down hill or up hill...whichever way you want to look at it and if you don't grid than you will lose your place. There is lots of Confetti Stitching in her Hairline...each square is a different color except for the black and sort of below the hairline it kinda stays the same.

The weather is going to be beautiful again today and I am so glad. I have to get a Prescription filled and than the rest of the day is mine. I will be watching TV and Stitching on Daisy Offerings by HAED. I have a Movie from Netflix to watch so I will be watching it. The name of the Movie is called "Golden Compass".

I Grid a 10 x 10 Block

Hi Everyone

...someone asked me how I Grid....

I ALWAYS Grid a 10 x 10 Block...When I first started out on Daisy Offerings I had to Grid a 3 Row One going Across on account of the way the Pattern is set up but now since I have that already Stitch I am Gridding my regular 10 x 10 Block. You always want to Grid a 10 x 10 block unless the pattern says or shows something differently.

You count 10 Squares going across and 10 squares going down. That is how I Grid my 10 x 10 block.

Info on my Gridding

Hi everyone

Okay...My Gridding - it is called Easy Count Guideline...it is red so you can see it...it is just like Fishing Line....only much better than Fishing Line. You can stitch over it, under it, you can leave it in and than pull it out after you get your block or area completely stitched. It is wonderful and I highly recommend it. You can put it through a Size 28 Needle. It is so easy to pull out of your material too. I dearly love it. You can buy this at www.123stitch.com or www.houseofstitches.com - House Of Stitches is my LNS.

Oh my HAED Daisy Offerings...I have it gridded 10 x 10 block even though it is done on 18 Count but when the hairline goes down hill and up hill you have to grid your material so you know where you are at. Her hairline is not easy to stitch by any means whatsoever and that is why I have to Grid.

I hope this has helped to answer your question about my Gridding.

I love 18 Count for my HAED Patterns and any other pattern for that matter. I am using the Easy Count Gridline Red Stuff to Grid with and I dearly love it.

Santa Baker by Joan Elliot. I am stitching this on 14 Count White Charles Craft Material. Using DMC Threads 2 over 1. I am stitching this as a SAL with Stitching Sisters Yahoo Group. We stitch on this for a week during the last week of the month.

Harvest Witch by Stoney Creek - Stitching this on 28 Count Blue Denim Jobelan Material. I am stitching this just on Sundays as a SAL with the Yahoo Stitching Sisters Group.

Fantasy Triptych by TW. Stitching this on 28 Count White Jazlyn Material. Using DMC Threads 2 over 1. The Faces are done 1 over 1. I am almost done with the Castle. Basically I just have the Windows area to finish up and than the Peaks of the Castle. Than the Castle will be completely finished. Than the Middle border to finish up. After that it is the Prince Panel which is the very last Panel to finish up.

These are the projects that I am currently stitching on and I will continue to stitch on them until they are finished. These are the ones that I want to do right now.

The weather is just beautiful...I love Fall...it is so pretty and the weather couldn't be anymore perfect than this. It is in the 70's F and the leaves are starting to turn now on the trees. The Trees are beautiful.

I got a tooth pulled

Hi everyone

I went back to my hometown to get a tooth pulled. I was at my hometown over the weekend. I got back to my place yesterday morning early.

I am still sore and achy yet from when I had my tooth pulled. I'm better now but not by much though.

I have been stitching on Fantasy Triptych. Today I am going to do more stitching on Fantasy Triptych and maybe Daisy Offerings by HAED. One of the message boards that I belong to is having a Mirabilia/L & L SAL on Mondays so I may start one of those patterns up. It's not like I don't have any patterns because I do.

The weather is just beautiful - in the 70's F all of this week - it is sure beautiful outside right now as I am sitting here writing this. I am going to be taking lots of pictures of the trees in the area as their leaves starts to turn colors which is sure beautiful. I am getting my haircut on Thursday and the rest of the day is mine. Friday I don't have anything plan so I will be staying home and stitching on my projects.

WIP's: Daisy Offerings, Fantasy Triptych - WIP's

I have re-started on Daisy Offerings by HAED - I was doing her on 25 Count Potato Lugana One over One. I am now doing her on 18 Count White Charles Craft Material 2 over 1. I love stitching her now....and I have started the end of Page 2 and Part of Page 3. I am going back and finish up Page two and than I will do page one, than go back and finish up page 3. That is my plan anyways. She looks so much better on 18 Count White than she does on 25 Count Potato Lugana. I don't have to be straining my eyes anymore either. YIPEE! I will enjoy stitching her now. She is going to be beautiful when she is completely finished.

More Progress on Fantasy Triptych - The little crack that you see in the Castle..that is suppose to be there....you will see another part of the Castle above the Crack but I am not going to tell you what part of the Castle you will be seeing. I just have the back stitching to do and than I can go on to my next big section which will be on top of what I just finished.

Blogger is acting up so I will post my Halloween Picture later - Harvest Witch by Stoney Creek.

The weather has been terrible lately....Pouring Down Rain the last two days and cold too.

Progress on Fantasy Triptych - didn't get much done on the Castle - I had too many other things going on this past week and this week too. I did get some progress done though and that is what counts right? Right!

It is Cold and Rainy here in Northern Indiana...

I went to Jo Ann Fabrics late morning today and I bought some Charm Packs. I'm going to try to make a Disappearing 4 Patch. If I can do it than I'm going to make a Quilt out of these squares.

The first photo is a pic of Mr. Railroad sitting in his Mommie's Chair. The rest of the photos are taken of the Sunset last night (9-4). The last two photos are pictures of two Jets and the very bottom photo is when the two jets cross over one another. It is so neat to watch the Jets. This is the first time that I have seen two Jets cross over one another. Next to the bottom photo is when the two Jets was just crossing over.

More Progress on Fantasy Triptych - The Castle - Panel 2. Since I have taken this photo I have gotten the Section all done except for the back stitching. I have to do the next section before I can do the back stitching in the section that I just finished. This is going pretty fast. This is the only project that I am stitching on.

It was extremely hot yesterday so I stayed put and I stitched on Fantasy Triptych, Read some in my Book and just took it easy. Today we are suppose to get rain/storms. That is okay with me. It won't be as hot as it was yesterday.

My Novel that I am reading is "Colony" by Anne River Siddons. I am on Chapter 12 and this has 20 Chapters in it. This book is really thick. Her Novels are really good and they are my type of read. I have more books of hers on my bookcase so when I get this one done than I will read another one of hers. I just love her books. They are kinda like Debbie Mccomber's Books.

I want to wish all of you a Happy Safe Labor Day Weeekend. Please don't drink and drive. I've had too many friends whose relatives got killed by a drunk driver.

I love getting up early in the mornngs and listening to the Birdies talk to one another and Mr. Railroad sits in the windowsill every morning in my living room and talks to his girlfriends...hahaha! He only wishes...LOL....which of course are Birdies.

I will have another bill paid off next month and I am so happy about this. I am going to try to get it paid off this month but I don't know if I'll be able to do it or not. Than by December I will have another Bill paid off. By next year I will be Debt Free. YIPEE! I will be so glad too. Than I can spend my extra money on what I want.

I am not stitching on Daisy Offerings - I am going to be switching the material from 25 Count to 18 Count. Stitching on 25 Count is straining my eyes even with my Magnifying Glasses so I am going to my LNS which is House Of Stitches and switching the material. Plus I will be able to skip around more too. You have to do this one on White Material even though there is lots of White in this picture but you can still see the white on white since there is other colors surrounding it. Daisy Offerings is a HAED.

I have finished Section 6 on Fantasy Triptych. I have started to stitch Section 7 in Panel #2 which is the top half of the Castle. Than once the Castle is done, than I can stitch the Prince Panel, finish up the Border, and than this project will be completely finished. It won't take long for me to finish up the Castle.

PIC - My Very First Quilt Completely Done - PIC

The top of my Purple Quilt. This is actually a Lap Quilt. I finished sewing the Binding down yesterday. I just love this. I am keeping this for myself. This is the first time that I have ever made a Quilt.

This is the Back of the Quilt. The material is all Butterflies.

I have completely started and finished my very first Quilt. I started making this last fall and I fnished it yesterday - Wed Aug 17th, 2011.

My next Quilt that I am going to make is a Baby Quilt. A lady Quilter died and her family donated all of her Quilting stuff to my Quilting Group through my church and so I went through about 20 boxes of Quilting stuff and I picked out what I wanted. Well in one of the boxes there was these blue,green,pink squares already cut out. So I am going to finish this and make it a baby quilt.

PICS - Daisy Offerings, Quilts and Grapes, and Railroad...PICS

Quilts and Grapes by Ursula Michaels. This was a UFO and I decided to pull this one out and stitch on it and get this one finished. This has Blue Metallic Threads in it and Gold Metallic Threads in it plus DMC Threads. There are 4 Quilt Squares in this and I have the first Quilt Square completely finished. I have started to stitch the Grapes on the Bottom. I am stitching this on 14 Count White Charles Craft Material which I dearly love. It is nice and soft.

Here is a better picture of Daisy Offerings - HAED - Sandra Kuck. I am stitching this on 25 Count Lugana Potato 1 over 1. I am on page 3 out of 36 pages. I got more done yesterday on this one. I am doing her hairline right now and I will continue to work on her hair line for a very long time yet. I am basically doing the background colors right now on this and this is just a little bit of her hairline.

Of course here is a pic of my very spoiled Mr. Railroad. I just love this picture of him. He is way too cute in this picture. This is too adorable of him. I just love him to death.

Fantasy Triptych by TW - Panel 2 - Section 6 - The Castle. I am almost done with Section 6 which is the bottom section of the Castle. When I get this Section done than I will finish the top of the Castle. Than I will have the Prince Panel, the rest of the Border to do and than maybe some more beading. I haven't decided if I want to add more Gold Beads to this or not yet. I am stitching this on 28 Count Jazlyn Material - White. Using DMC Threads 2 over 2. The Faces are done 1 over 1.

"I See The Moon" Birth Announcement by Janlynn - Stitching this on 14 Count White Charles Craft Material. I am stitching this for my Great Niece who was born on July 5th.

Today I am going to be stitching on HAED Daisy Offerings. For those who don't know what HAED stands for it is Heaven And Earth Designs.

I want to thank all of you for all of the lovely comments on my story about Railroad....it was meant to be and it was meant for us to adopt each other. I just love him. He is spoiled rotten. He is my very first Kitty Kat that I have had and he is a stinker at times and a ham at other times. I just love the way he sleeps. He is way too cute when he is sleeping. He sure loves his Mr. Tuna Fish.

The weather is beautiful this morning and I am so glad. It is nice and cool out this morning. I am so glad after all of that Hot Weather that we was getting. Geesh.

How Railroad got his name

Hi Everyone

Thanks for the comments about my new WIP and about Railroad. This is how Railroad got his name.

About 4 summers ago I was out walking one late night/wee wee in the morning and I was not too far from the Main Railroad Tracks in my hometown. All of a sudden like here comes this little kitty kat who at the time was only like 1 or 2 years old if not younger than that and I was 6 blocks away from my house. This Little Kitty Kat followed me on all four of his little tiny paws all the way home from where the Railroad Tracks were at so I named him Railroad. He did not want to be carried either he wanted to walk and the whole time he was following me he was purring up a storm.

When we got home I had a hooded sweatshirt in the backseat of my car and I put him in the backseat of my car and that little stinker curled up and slept all night long in my car. The very next morning (early that is) I went out and got him, brought him into the front porch, than I brought him in the house and at the time I had two dogs and I did not know what their reaction was going to be like so I was right beside my little kitty kat the whole time until my two dogs got used to poor lil Railroad.

As time went on they would chase each other around the house and Peanut my Boston Terrier was a bit tad jealous of Mr. Railroad. Railroad and my German Shepherd Chewy got along just fine. In fact Railroad would curl up right up against Chewy's Belly and he would be out like a light. Not once did Chewy mind that...I think he liked Railroad just as much as Railroad liked him.

When I had to have both of my dogs put to sleep Railroad was not himself for a few days...it was hard on him. I wish I could have another dog but due to my health now and stuff I can't have one. Its too hard on me to have a dog. If I lived at the house I might consider getting a small dog but that remains to be seen. At my age I probably won't get another dog.

I really miss Peanut and Chewy...they were my two best Guard Dogs that I ever had since I was born and I've had dogs all of my life.

That is how Railroad got his name and as I am writing this Mr. Railroad is all stretched out laying in the windowsill in the living room watching for his girlfriends out the window....LOL....haha!

I have been stitching all day on Fantasy Triptych. I am getting closer in getting Section #6 done.

This is my new Start - it is called "I See The Moon" Birth Announcement by Janlynn. This came as a Kit but I pulled my own material and my own threads. I am stitching this on 14 Count White Charles Craft Material. I am using DMC Threads. This is my progress as of last night - Sat. July 30th. The first picture is what it is suppose to look like when I get it finished.

From yesterday afternoon to last night I stitched on Fantasy Triptych. This morning I have been stitching since I got up on Fantasy Triptych. I have 20 more rows to go yet before Section 6 is completely finished. Those rows will go pretty fast.

Progress Pics of Fantasy Triptych, Other News

My Progress on Fantasy Triptych by TW. I am slowly stitching on Panel 2 - The Castle. There are lots of Confetti Stitching in this Panel. I can only do about 1 row a day and that is about it. Of course Mr. Railroad just had to inspect my stitching - LOL.... :)....My Cat is called the Stitching Inspector.... LOL....

Yesterday (Friday, July 29th) I went on a Shop Hop - All Quilt Shops - and there were 28 Quilt Shops altogether. It was fun but it sure was crowded. I saw lots of beautiful Material and Beautiful Quilts that were made. I didn't buy anything at the shop hop. On the way home we stopped in another town and we went to this Quilt Shop in the town. Boy I love this Quilt Shop and it isn't that far from me either. They have a huge sewing room where they use the Big Quilting Long Arm Machine to Quilt and the guy uses the Computerized One for the smaller size Quilts. It is so fascinating to go to this shop. I bought two Fat Quarters - Bright Colors - and I got one Free Fat Quarter. On the way home we stopped at this Truck Stop/Restaurant and ate lunch. The Food was really good.

Today I am going to start my new project which is a Birth Announcement from Janlynn Corp. I am anxious to get started on this and start stitching on this for my Great Niece who was born on July 5th.

The weather has been really humid and very hot.

I am almost done with reading "Deception" by Jonathan Kellerman. I have 10 more chapters to read. I spend alot of time at the Library during the first part of the week. They are so busy that it is hard to get a study room.

Progress Pic of Fantasy Triptych

My Progress as of 7/22. I have all of the Green done now except for a little bit in the Prince Panel. I am just concentrating on the Castle and finishing it up. Than I will do the Prince Panel. I am doing the back stitching as I go along too.

I ordered a Birth Announcement Kit through House Of Stitches which is a Janlynn Kit. I am going to try to start working on this one. I am making it for my Great Niece.

It is so nice to be back home in my nice lil apt and be surrounded by m own things. I am not going anywhere for a while.

It has finally cooled down where I can have my windows open and not suffocate. It was way too hot last week and they had Heat Warnings out too.

I ran out of DMC #3033

Hi everyone

I ran out of DMC #3033 as of this morning so tomorrow when I go to my favorite place I will get more of this thread. I'm going to pull out HAED Daisy Offerings and work on that today and in the morning.

We are under Heat Advisory Warning for the rest of this week starting today - Thursday. We are not suppose to be outside in the heat - only in the mornings and in the evenings. With the Humidity it is suppose to be over 100 degrees outside. Now that is what I call HOT HUMID WEATHER!.

I am staying in and stitching, reading and whatever else I can find to do.

I will be back at my place on Thursday and I will be glad of that. I am getting so worned out from having to do everything and my brother can do the dishes, put them away, and do laundry but he expects me to do it all.

Next weekend I will be posting my pics that I've been taking so there will be lots of them to be posted.

Now I am concentrating on the Castle

Hi everyone

I have decided that I am going to finish stitching the Castle. Than once that is done than I can start stitching on the 3rd Panel which is the Prince. I am making good progress on the Castle. I just have the top half to do and the back stitching and than Panel 2 will be completely finished. I am getting closer all of the time in getting this huge project done. The Castle is fun to do.

It has been extremely hot lately but I have the ceiling fans going too.

The Bad Neighbors have been fighting among themselves, screaming at one another, slamming doors shut, their dog barks constantly whenever he is outside. The Police is going to arrest them the next time they are screaming and fighting. The ex-wife and the ex-husband is getting back together but everytime she goes over there they start fighting and screaming at one another. The Parents of the ex-wife is paying for everything for their daughter and the parents are not in good health - the mother has something wrong with her Brain - It is some kind of disease which is not contagious and she lives like 3 hours away and the daughter (the ex-wife) is not even there to help take care of her Mother. Instead she is fighting constantly with her ex-husband. Oh What a mess. I am only staying with my brother for another 2 weeks and than I'm outa here and back to my place where there is peace and quiet.

I am so anxious to get back to my place it isn't even funny. I miss Hardees, my Chair, my own TV, my Craft Area, my Computer, and poor Railroad is missing laying in the window sills. I have all nice big windows but the window sills are not big enough here at the house for the cats to lay in. There is one window sill but that is it though that is big enough for the cats to lay in and they fight over the window sill.

The Big Green Section is completely Finished

Hi everyone

The Big Green Section on Fantasy Triptych is completely finished as of this afternoon. I am so glad. I have started to stitch more on the Castle now.

I am so excited that the Green is done...geesh...talk about Tweeding....wow....every square in the Big Green Section was all Tweeding....I had so much fun doing that section - haha!

I will post a picture of my progress of Fantasy Triptych as soon as I get back to my place.

Railroad is laying on my brother's desk trying to stay cool these days.....he is asleep.

Only 5 more rows to go yet on the last of the Green

Hi everyone

My brother Larry fixed breakfast for us this morning...we had scrambled eggs, English Muffins, Coffee and Sausage Patties. It was really good.

Railroad has been up to getting into mischief and hogging all of the furniture - he thinks that he owns the couch, Our Bed, His Couch on the Front Porch, and everything else. He is way too cute and too funny - I have been taking lots of pictures of Railroad so when I get back home I will get them edited and posted.

I have 5 more rows to go yet on the last of the Green and than I will be able to finish up the Castle. Than start on the last Panel which is the Prince and finish the Border. I do my back stitching as I go along so I don't have to do it all at the very end. When I get this completely finish I will be totally lost.

I ordered a Birth Announcement from House Of Stitches - it is from Janlynn Corp. It is a Kit but I am going to buy my own material and thread when I get it. I am going to be making it for my Great Niece was born on July 5th.

Geesh I see that Blogger has changed everything around...wow....that is okay though...it's going to take some getting use to though.

My brother went to the doctor yesterday

Hi everyone

My brother Larry who had the Open Heart Surgery - he went to his doctor's appt yesterday and he got a good report. Everything is healing up just fine. They increase his one blood pressure pill to 1 1/2 now instead of just one a day. They want to get the top number below 140. He can start mowing next Wed and than he can go back to work the first of August with some weight restrictions. He still can't lift anything over 10 pounds. His Zipper cut is looking really good and so is his big cut by the neck.

I am going to stay home today and stitch on Fantasy Triptych. I only have like 12 more rows to go and than I am done with all of that lovely green.

It is suppose to rain today sometime and I wish that my brother's best friend would come over and mow our yard before it starts raining. It needs mowing.

Well I am going to let you go....I hope all of you get lots of stitching done today... :) or tonight..... :)

I have 13 more rows to do of the Green on Fantasy Triptych

Hi everyone

As of this morning I have 13 more rows to go on the last of the Green so I am hoping to have it done by this weekend. I can only do two or three rows per day due to lots of Confetti Stitching.

My brother Larry is going to the doctor this afternoon. His best buddy lost his good expensive weedeater a couple of days ago - he had his tailgate open on his truck, and his neighbors cows got out so he went to help him find his cows...well in the process of it my brother's good expensive weedeater fell off of his truck and he lost it. We think that somebody came along and picked it up off the road. So now he has to buy my brother a good expensive weedeater. My brother is not going to let him borrow anything from him anymore. This is going to be the last time for that. My brother is pretty upset over this and I am too for that matter. My brother paid for this good expensive weedeater out of his own pocket and here his stupid buddy was careless with it and he lost it for him.

I had a very relaxing 4th of July evening. I sat and read most of the night. It is too crowded for me to go to the High School where they have it every year and too congested so since I fell and broke my leg and have trouble walking a tiny bit I stay away from uneven grounds and away from crowds.

We are suppose to have storms all day today which is fine with me. I love sitting on my front porch and read and stitch and relax.

I am half way done with my Novel. I love Anne River Siddons Books. I went to my local library yesterday and I bought 10 books from their Book Sale Bookcase. Most of them are Mysteries.

Happy 4th of July

Hi everyone

I want to wish those of us who are celebrating 4th of July a Happy and a Safe 4th of July. Please enjoy yourselves today and have fun with friends and family and please stay safe.

As for me....I am going to stay home today and stitch on Fantasy Triptych. My brother is going to go to the Carnival sometime today and get me my Elephant Ear. The Fireworks is at 10 p.m. tonight but I'm not going to go watch them...it is hard for me to walk over wires and all of that stuff and I don't like to be around big crowds of people due to me having a chance of falling down or something and getting hurt so I have learned to stay away from large crowds of people.

My next HAED Project that I will do after I get Daisy Offerings done will probably be Train Of Dreams...I love this pattern and I am getting anxious to get Daisy Offerings done so I can get it framed and give it to the little girl that I want to give it too. I am finishing Fantasy Triptych and than Daisy Offerings. After that I don't know what my next two projects will be.

Hi everyone

His Heart Surgeon said that he could start driving two weeks after his surgery so today I am letting him drive. His truck is broke down so I am letting him drive my car. I am being such a nice Nurse.... :)....LOL....

It was so ungodly hot yesterday that I stitch just a tiny bit and that was it. It was horrible yesterday and last night we got that terrible storm so that made it much cooler. Today it is so nice out so I am going to spend most of the day sitting on my front porch stitching on Fantasy Triptych.

I had a very relaxing morning this morning - watching the Morning News and drinking my coffee in my jammies. It is a beautiful morning out. My brother got me a donut from Casey's and so I had that along with my coffee this morning. Than after he left I went and took my shower.

I am going to spend the rest of the day stitching and not do anything else.

I wish all of you a very Happy and Safe 4th of July this weekend and tomorrow for those of us who are celebrating. May you all get lots of stitching done during this Holiday Weekend.

I read all of your Blogs and all of your WIP's/Finishes are just out of this world. After I get one more bill paid off this month than I am going to buy another HAED Pattern. They are so very addicting :)....LOL...

I am half way done with the Green on Fantasy Triptych

Hi everyone

I am half way done with the green on Fantasy Triptych which is the last of the Green on the whole picture. There is some green in the Prince Panel but not very much. I will probably be done with the Green by this weekend. Than I can finish the Castle and than do the Prince Panel and than Fantasy Triptych will be done. I am doing the back stitching as I stitch so I don't have to do that at the end.

My brother who had Open Heart Surgery is doing good. He goes back to the doctor a week from today. I hope his doctor will let him drive.

My Novel that I am reading is called "Colony" by Anne River Siddons...I love her books. This is a great big thick book but in reality there are only 19 chapters in this book to read and I am on Chapter 5.

I have been reading all of your Blogs and I love all of your WIP's and Finishes....they are all so very pretty....I can't leave comments for some reason so if you don't get a comment from me you will know why...my google won't let me leave comments.

I can't post any pictures yet because I don't have my computer with me. I will be posting pictures after I get back home.

My brother had Open Heart Surgery

Hi everyone

My one brother (I have 5 brothers altogether) had his Open Heart Surgery last week so that is why I haven't been posting. I am staying at his house right now so I can't post any pictures or anything like that until I get back home.

My brother is doing well considering what he had to have done and he is so lucky that he is still with us because his surgeon told us that he was a walking time bomb ready to explode any minute so we are all so very thankful that he is still with us and is doing well.

He came home from the hospital yesterday and he was rather quite crabby but he is doing better today.

I am keeping a low profile today after what happened yesterday and last night.

Well I am going to let you go and please keep my brother Larry in your prayers and thoughts for a speedy recovery.

Daisy Offerings - Designer is Sandra Kuck - HAED. Page 2 is completely done now as of today, Wed. June 8, 2011. I am using Easy Count Gridline for my Gridding now...I don't use anything else. It is much better than Fishing Line and you can see it...LOL...It's Red....LOL....I love this stuff. I have to Grid my Fabric for all of my HAED Projects. Otherwise I will get lost for sure especially since there is a Hairline involved and lots of Confetti Stitching in the Hairline. I am going to put this up for a while and stitch on Fantasy Triptych now for a while.

Railroad is dead sound asleep in his Bed...he is so cute when he is sleeping....I love to watch him sleep. He actually has his one front paw clear underneath his head....his head is laying on top of his one paw.

I enjoyed myself yesterday

Hi everyone

After my Bible Study was over with I went out to eat with my Bible Study Group. We went to a place called Quiet Corner/Tea Room as I call it...the actual name is Quiet Corner. This Small Restaurant is known for its flavored Teas and Coffees. Their food is all homemade too. I love this place. It is a small Quaint looking Restaurant. They have a tree that is in a shape of a Teapot right beside the main entrance to their dining room area. The Kitchen is a separate building across from the dining room building. The guy who owns this place sings and plays Guitar while you are eating. Their food is so good too.

I came home after that and I just mostly sat and read. I did stitch some but the weather has been ungodly hot lately that I can't hardly do anything but read. I did stitch a little bit yesterday on my HAED Project called Daisy Offerings. I have two more blocks to do and than Page 2 will be completely finished. Than I will go back to stitching on Fantasy Triptych for a while.

I am still reading the same book called Weyrs Of Pern by Anne McCaffrey. I love her books.

I found another HAED Pattern that I must have - it is called Computer Catastrophes and I don't know who the Designer is. I am trying to find this out from the lady that has just started to stitch this.

I am getting my haircut today and that is going to be the extent of my doing anything since it is going to be up in the 96 -98 degree F today. I have to go to Walmart afterwards to get a few groceries.

My Computer Sound Problem

Update on my Computer Sound Situation

I discovered that it might help if the Sound was on - on the main Speaker Box...geesh....next time I will check that too.

I went to Church and than to Sunday School this morning. I just got done playing my favorite Face Book Game called Cityville...I dearly love this game.

The weather is cloudy and warm...I think it is going to Rain sometime today the way it looks.

That is about it...I'm going to spend the rest of the day stitching on my HAED Daisy Offerings. I am on the very last row of Page 2.

More Progress on Fantasy Triptych. I am still stitching the Green yet. Boy there is alot of Green in this. I am stitching this on 28 Count Jazlyn Material. Using DMC Threads 2 over 2. The Faces are done 1 over 1. This is Panel 2 - Section 6.

Of course Railroad just has to show off you know and being such a ham...He is so cute and so funny....

The weather has been really nice lately.....it's been warm during the day time and cool at night.

For some reason I don't have no sound to my computer and I checked everything so I don't know what is going on. I plugged my Scanner in yesterday so I could scan something and when I did than I lost the sound to my Computer. I think my Speaker AC Plug thingy got burnt out so I'm just going to have to buy a new speaker system next month if I don't get it figured out between now and than.

I am still reading the same book as I was before - The Weyrs Of Pern by Anne McCaffrey. I love this Novel. It is really good.

More done on Fantasy Triptych. This is the last big green section that I have to do. There is still some green in other areas but not this big though.

This is the full view of Fantasy Triptych so far. I really enjoy stitching on this.

Have another row done on Daisy Offerings by HAED. I may work on this over the weekend Holiday since I am not going anywhere.

The weather has been very stormy all week and bad storms on top of everything else and today it is cold and rainy out. It is only 53 degrees F.

I am going to spend the Holiday Weekend Stitching on my two projects.

I have found some new Authors that I want to read and Amazon.com has the Authors that I want to read their books so I will be buying my books from Amazon.com - a few at a time. I am trying to get all of Nancy Drews Books. I am collecting her Novels. I never got the chance to read her books when I was a teenager and I never heard of them until I became an Adult. I wish I would've read them and had them. I have the first 4 Novels of hers so far. I'm going to get Book #5 this next month and the latest book of Jean Auel's Book called Painted Caves. I have all of Jean Auel's Books. I am reading a book called "All The Weyrs Of Pern" by Anne McCaffrey. I love her books.
